Spectrum will be your new service provider!

Spectrum has purchased Sunrise Communications LLC assets and will begin servicing Mullett Lake and Wolverine at the end of October.  Then Onaway, Millersburg, Hillman, Atlanta, Canada Creek Ranch and Posen areas will switch in November.

Watch your mail for a letter from Spectrum and follow the instructions to avoid unnecessary outages during the switch from Sunrise to Spectrum equipment!

Example:  During overnight from Oct 28 11pm to Oct 29 7am,  Spectrum crews will work on the Mullett Lake & Wolverine areas.

Customers can install their new Spectrum equipment the morning of Oct 29th.

DO NOT INSTALL new Spectrum equipment until your cut date listed above.  It will not function until your cut date.

We are compiling a list of those subscribers who will be effected by the src-milp.com emails that will be ending. Sunrise will then include you in more detailed instructions & support of this email transition



NOTICE:  PBS  (Sunrise Ch. 9)

Due to fire at the WCMU broadcast facility, PBS will be off air for an

undetermined period of time.

From WCMU:  WCML 91.7FM and TV Channel 6 remain off the air. It is expected these stations will remain off the air for several months as we work to rebuild our transmitter site in Atlanta, MI. This outage is also impacting broadcasts of WCMU Classical in the Alpena area.





Sunrise has completed upgrading all areas of our fiber-cable plant.

Internet Speeds to 1 Gbps are available in all service areas.

FIBER CABLE UPGRADE UPDATES:

Basic TV customers: if you are missing channels after the crews finish for the day, please Re-Program/Re-Scan the channels on your TV. Upgraded Basic TV is now digital using MPEG2, MPEG4, and H265 formats. Older TV's may not accept the MPEG4 & H265 format & you may need to upgrade your television.  See bottom of FAQ for more information on digital TV upgrade.
